These are a few of my favorite things this month.
Stila illuminating tinted moisturizer in shade 02. I wear this underneath my foundation so that my skin looks like it's glowing from underneath. Im normal to oily and this doesn't make me look greasy at all. I love that I can also use it by itself for errands or the gym, just to even everything out a bit on days I don't feel like putting on a lot of makeup.
Here is what it looks like on the skin. I put it all over my hand. Its hard to tell in the camera lighting but it truly gives a Jlo glow to your face.
Korres wild rose 24-hour moisturizing & brightening cream. I use this at night but also when the weather is exceptionally cold and my skin is getting a little dry. I have to say that being a make up artist for the last 7 years I've tried a lot of moisturizers and this trumps them all! Thick but not heavy. Moisturizing but not greasy and has a pleasant scent of roses to it. Korres products are all natural and from Athens. The price point is a little more than most but its worth every penny, trust me.
Sephora professionnel airbrush powder brush No 55. To say I have a lot of makeup brushes is a joke. I've seen them all but finding one that can almost do everything better than the rest? Here she is. The perfect size for all over powder, bronzer and blush. I would recommend this brush to anyone. It's soft and blends like no other.
Its price point is around $35.00, which is not bad and if you take care of your brushes they will take care of you as well. It'll last 15-20 years.
My new foundation. I was a die hard M.A.C. studio fix fluid foundation girl + Studio fix powder. Until I decided I wanted something more natural and skin like. BareMinerals original SPF 15 Foundation in medium beige gives my skin not only an even complexion but a healthy beautiful glow! Not to mention I don't look cakey and it takes me half the time it used to, to do my makeup in the morning. Which is exactly what you want if you're up for work at 5:30 AM everyday. I'm in love.
L'oreal telescopic explosion mascara. This is the best for girls like me with small eyes or anyone who has lashes in the corners that they just cant seem to get. It has a crazy looking end that resembles an ancient medieval flail, scary looking but effective! It gets every baby lash with precision and does wonders for the bottom lashes!
So you can see the brush more accurately.
Nars bronzer in Laguna.
Every time I try another bronzer I come right back to this one. Its a cult favorite for a reason. Not too orange and not too red. Its the perfect golden bronze that blends very easy onto the skin.
Here are the swatches for the bronzer. The first one to the left is Guerlain terracotta tan booster in 01 light, the second (middle) swatch is Nars Laguna, and the last (right) is BareEssentials in Warmth.
Chanel glossimer lip gloss in Hibiscus. This gloss is gorgeous. The perfect subtle red with glitter. It adds that pop of color with out being overwhelming. Chanel glosses are thick but not sticky and the consistency and color payoff is that of a lipstick mixed with gloss.
I love the clean, classy packaging.
Here is the swatch for Hibiscus.
Covergirl trublend micro minerals blush in shimmering sands. I use this over my blush for a shimmery highlight for my cheeks. It has a pink and gold undertone which is flattering on most skin tones. It's shimmery not frosty. It doesn't really have enough color payoff to wear alone so I would recommend layering it over your blush as a highlighter to catch the light and glimmer. I have really sensitive skin and this product is great, I haven't had any problems with it.
Here is the swatch for the blush.

I've been wearing BE foundation for YEARS! I really love it...it's the most natural looking make up and you cant feel it on your skin. I also wear medium beige. I'm too am a fan of the NARS Laguna bronzer :) Great picks! www.casualglamorous.com
