My New Best Friend, LORAC Double Feature Concealer/Highlighter in DF1
Inside is a beautiful extra coverage concealer stick, with an iridescent pearl base that reflects light to offset the darkness of under eye circles.
On the other end is a cream highlighter that can be used for a brow highlight, cheek highlighter or in the corners of the eyes to brighten things up a bit. There is also a roller ball end to blend the concealer with and it is super convenient. No more concealer on my fingers when I'm on the go. This baby is truly an all in one and makes me look bright eyed and bushy tailed even when I'm so not.
Swatches of the concealer/highlighter. The first swatch to the left is the cream highlighter, the second is the concealer stick. I chose this one that has a yellow base to it although there are other combos available. This one flattered my skin tone the most. I am a NC20-25 in M.A.C. Studio fix depending on the season.
My new moisturizer. Caudalie Creme Sorbet. I was reading another blog from a girl from the same neck of the woods as me, GalMeetsGlam. She used this on her blog and I decided to try it, its awesome! It has a faint scent of grapes and works great as a base for my makeup.
I found this tiered crystal holder at the thrift store on Saturday and decided it was a perfect addition to my mirrored vanity. It was such a steal and holds all my small earrings and watches conveniently and beautifully in one spot. It's elaborate yet simple design is just devine.
While at the thrift store I also came across these dainty elegant tea cups that are by Johnson Brothers and are made in England. All four were there and I payed 79 cents for them!!! The teaspoon is hand made from Sterling Vineyards Winery in Napa, CA.
The absolute best tea I've had yet! Rishi Organic Green Tea Jasmine Pearl. The flavor and aroma is amazing, sweet, and floral. I use about 5-8 little pearls in a cup with local farmers market wild flower honey. I use local honey because it helps with allergies. This combo is a healthy way to relax after a long day!
The hand rolled green tea pearls are mixed with fragrant jasmine blossoms by Fujian tea artisans.
